| Ecological responsibility compels us to try to make Long Lake Adventure Camp a green camp. We are lowering our energy consumption by using fluorescent bulbs and adding solar energy panels. Water from an underground stream beneath our fields is harvested to water our gardens and lawns. More and more of the fruits and vegetables we consume are grown right here on camp - teaching campers farm-to-table. We fertilize our crops with our own organic compost. |
